THE SKY NOW

ABOUT US

On Sunday 25th of June 2006 Chady Matta and Alain Khayat launched a small rocket in a valley situated north Lebanon, at an altitude of 1800m. The rocket was barely filmed after launch because it was too fast. Two cameras were recording the same event, one at a safe distance of 6 m, and another one, which was very close: only 1m was used by Chady Matta.
The rocket went too high and straight into the sky, only a white trail has been caught.
Just to mention that the whole project didn't cost more than $3, just to show how fun and exciting this small experience could be.
The pictures seen below are taken from two perspectives.
The movies are given upon request.
