Lee Observatory is one of the oldest observatories in the Middle East, if not the oldest. It is situated in the campus of the American University of Beirut. The observatory is named after Henry Lee, a British merchant from Manchester. Everyone can sail into the heart of the history of Astronomy when entering the observatory.
