..My first ever astronomy book was on the shelves of my father's "bibliotheque", it is one of many books on politics, philosophy, lebanese history, wars around the world, all religions, gastronomy, life sciences...

I was in fact interested long time ago by astronomy, since the first day I "really" looked up into sky, but this book was an "accelerator" and a great base for me in general astronomy.It really teached me how to look up there and answered me lot of questions at my age. I was introduced to a great society that I dream to be a part of: the astronomical society all over the world. This book is french, "L'ASTRONOMIE, à la découverte de mondes nouveux " or "ASTRONOMY, discovering new worlds" for Pierre Rousseau.

This book is written on the dawn of space exploration, it talks about man facing the sky, our tiny earth, our

surrounding neighborhood, the moon, our planetary system, planet MARS, solar rays, planets one by one, ocean of stars, message from the stars and about deep sky.

As for my magazines, I have started to collect astronomy magazines since the year 1997. I have found lot of obstacles to find some, even today. You can find them in famous bookshops like Librairie Antoine.

   Sky & Telescope. (Monthly magazine, containing techniques in observational astronomy, telescope
   accessories,astronomy articles, sky maps, astrophotos, and observationtips for sky-gazers of all levels
   including experts from Sky & Telescope and CCD Astronomy magazines, tips for backyard stargazers,

reviews of telescopes ,a weekly astronomy news bulletin ).
