In a country where astrology and astronomy are the same,
where the solar eclipse is the apocalypse, where Mars closest approach
brings with it "Martian invasion", or where a very well
known newspaper writes that Mars can be seen at 1:00 P.M!!!, we
still have the hope that amateur astronomy can be improved in Lebanon. The
aim of this site is to share our online library with all the people
who have the curiosity to learn about amateur astronomy. Moreover
our intention is to collaborate with Lebanese amateur astronomy
clubs directed by astrophysicists who spent years of observations,
data analysis and solving mathematical equations to be what they
are now. We are a group of 5 people and we hope that
this group will extend in the future.
